NORFOLK, Va. (July 7, 2014) – Nexus Direct, an independent full-service direct marketing agency, continued to expand its footprint in Europe, deploying a team to the Institute of Fundraising National Convention in London and announcing that CEO Suzanne Cole Nowers will be presenting a Master Class at the International Fundraising Congress in The Netherlands.
From July 7 – 9,more than 2,500 fundraisers from across Europe will gather in London for the National Convention of the Institute of Fundraising. Suzanne Cole Nowers and Kristi Rinck from Nexus Direct’s Virginia Beach headquarters and Jolan van Herwaarden from the agency’s European office will participate in sessions, network with other fundraisers, and share the best practices of both European and U.S. fundraising.
In November, Suzanne Cole Nowers made a much talked about presentation at the International Fundraising Congress (IFC) about what international non-profits could learn from U.S. political fundraising. The session was very well received, and one fundraising executive blogged, “Suzanne showed us a different way of fundraising: truly engaging, impactful, emotional, ballsy fundraising.”
As a result of that session, Suzanne has been invited to present a six-hour Master Class at the 2014 Congress titled: “Facts, Figures and Feeling: Building an annual strategy and plan to influence donors and persuade your board.” For more information, and to register for the IFC and the Master Class, go to http://www.resource-alliance.org/pages/en/prices-and-registration.html
